In a head-to-head comparison with other photo comic apps MacWorld says,"Comic Life stands out with a mixture of power and cuteness." "Only Comic Life from Plasq offers unique, colorful, and truly thematic themes - flowers, summertime, travel, and the like."
And a Tap UK Review gives us a tip of the hat, "Already a huge success on the desktop, Comic Life brings all of its verve and style to the iPad with intuitive, simple controls and a range of preset templates, providing everything you need to create striking, entertaining comics from your digital photographs." Basically, " this is an app that will appeal both to hobbyists and to more serious comic designers: its slick interface, coupled with its tremendous ability to customise images and text, make Comic Life a real joy to use."
If you'd rather use artwork than photos to create your comics in Comic Life, Sion Morris and ComicKits.com is a great resource for artwork!
